Very smooth and a tremendous
value in a ski that even experts will appreciate. Solid edge grip
and easy to control in all turn shapes. The Elan M666 is beefier than
the B2 making it a better choice for "Front Side" All Mountain skiers.
I really enjoyed this ski. The M666 allowed me to ski aggressively
and fast but did not feel too demanding, letting me relax and
enjoy the ride even when it got icy and steeper. Fun skis at a great
price.

Skied this ski on 8” of chopped pow. Did not miss a turn all day. Fantastic in soft bumps, forgiving, and very quick edge to edge. Finally a parabolic with some feel to its flex. A little squirly at high speeds, but that is what you give up with its quickness. If you are willing to give up a little bit of high speed stability this ski blows away any all mountain ski I have skied to date.

Skied @ Castle Mtn with 123cm in the last 7 days, most of the snow was windworked powder. My tired old Dynastar 4*4 Powertracs just couldn’t float so I demo’d a pair.
I suspected they may not be fat enough to float in the soft stuff, and in pristine powder they didn’t, but in the wind sifted snow they were perfect, incredible in fact. Super quiet with the wood core, very progressive turn radius, releases turns without thinking. Doesn’t have the same rebound energy as my Dynastars, but once I figured them out you could snap quick turns acceptably. Are ok for soft moguls.
I was impressed, they actually carved better than my stiffer 4 by 4’s on the groomers yet floated in the soft stuff. I’m impressed.
The complaints about high speed stability are so far as I can gather unfounded. I ski very fast as a rule and they didn’t scare me once.

Spring time in the Rockies!!! I spent 4 months of the season laid up after shoulder surgery…Anyways, FINALLY I got to ski. I had not ridden these ski’s this season, but man…what a performer!!! The last few days at Beaver Creek have been slushy and icey….10” of fresh powder this morning, and its a different world. This ski performs great in the crud, but in the powder its a blast!! Once you get a little speed, the ski pops out on top of the pow, and you’re stylin’. You could carve a turn on a bowling ball!!! In any condition!!! Have not taken it into the park yet…..probably next season… Get yours today!!!!!
