Manufacturer’s Description of the K2 The Seth:

"A weapon designed by Seth Morrison, this pro model is the tool that provides a diverse approach to skiing. Whether it’s raging big mountain lines, the deepest powder, or laps through the park - the new Seth can tackle everything. The Seth gets this versatility using Progressive Sidecut technology with a deeper radius sidecut in the tip and less in the tail. Built for the abuse Seth unleashes, this ski comes with black skull tip and tail rivets, ABS sidewall construction and thick durable steel edges. Combine all that with a unique graphic for a surreal experience on the snow."

This is the amazing Seth Morrison pro model. He rides this for big mountain and in the park. This ski is very versatile. To top it off, the graphics are ill and inspired by Dali.

Seth Morrison pro model called the Seth Vicious last year excels everywhere from big mountain to powder even in the park.  Has tip and tail rivets and durable and thick edges.  Graphics are cool but kinda strange but overall a good buy.

Hey, I just got out on these babies for the first time today.  Let me tell you I am very impressed. They handle amazingly well on the hardpack for how wide they are, you wont lose and edge. In the pow they are unbelievable.  Crud is awesome too. just an extremely stable ski. Plus the graphics are sweet.

These skis are sweet. I have taken mine on almost everything the mountains can offer…park, groomers, pow pow, steeps, and a few decent drops.  They perform well everywhere but seem to excel in the pow and the steep stuff.  Great fun when throwing down in the park or off that big drop and stable in the landings.  I would recommend this ski to almost anyone who already knows how to ski.  It is a bit stiff for a beginner or a non-aggressive skier though.

Are they relatively fast? (in comparison to other twin tips)

Just got these the other day and have skied them a few times now.  These skis are awesome for strong, aggressive skiers.  They shred on every type of snow I have encountered.  Powder, crud, groomers, and park all get eaten up by the Seths.  The Seth’s wide platform provides a great landing surface for big drops.  While this ski is fairly heavy and stiff it still performs well in the air.  Sweet ski, but the Salvador Dali graphics were the selling point for me.  Enjoy the ride.

im looking at the ak and the seth. i already have the public enemies and those are gonna be strictly park skis now. but which ski should i get for all mountain… seths or AKs

If you are looking for an all mountain ski get the Seth’s…If you are looking for something that floats like a buoy in the pow get the AK’s. The Seth’s are little more versatile. Good Luck and enjoy

okay looking for a good pair of park skis and if they can hit up the groomed trails as well, all the better, i weight in at 155 and 5’8 is height. So help me out which one is better, i want some easy park skis

Dude you’re better off with the K2 Public Enemy in a 179 or 174, they’re better for the park and groomers than the Seth.

I am looking for a ski i can take in the backcountry that can rip the deeper pow, i dont really need it to perform on the hardpack or groomers that much cause i already have a pair of publics that i use for an everday ski, but they dont do as good in the deep snow as i would like I like K2 skis for durability cause they always make a solid ski but I dont know if the seths will do what i want being a more all around ski than a pow ski. I would aalso like reccomindations on other skis anyone has tried that rip it in the backcountry and pow but can still pull of backcountry kickers and ride through anything.

Second pair of Seths for me.  First were 189 complete planks 06 model (some guys swear by em - no way).  Last year rode the 179, also really big, fat heavy big radius skis.  They are great for deep pow, huge steep bowls. Perfect for going straight down @ mach speed. Forget hard pack, moguls, or anything you need to make a quick turn on.  All round Mtn Skis get K2 APACHE rip everything.  Keepin the Seths (He is still my idol) for big heli days, got a deal on last years PE so I will ride em too.

Can anyone tell me how they like the seth in the park? Boxes, jumps and pipe. I’m currently on the Karmas.

I’m about 5’8” and 160 lbs.  I am getting the seth vicious, but not sure what size.  It seems as though everyone is going with bigger sizes now.  All of my current skis are between 165 and 172.  should I be looking at the 169 or the 179 for the once a year trip out west?  Mostly backcountry.  THanks
