I took these out to Les Arcs for a couple of weeks recently and they performed admirably. When skiing on the piste they carve superbly and are great for hacking down the mountain doing short cut turns. They can be a little twitchy and if you don’t concentrate it’s easy to catch an edge. Once snow conditions deteriorated in the afternoons they became a lot harder to ski on, it’s a real effort using these skis in slushy snow so if you’re looking to purchase a pair just watch out for dodgy snow. The skis are clearly designed for on the piste carving but I did take them out in to the wilds a few times and they didn’t perform as badly one might expect. While they do ride a bit lower than would be ideal for off piste skiing they can be used in powder conditions. As far as park skiing goes they were fine in there although I’d be wary of grinding on rails etc because the edges don’t take kindly to that.

These are superb when used in good conditions on the piste but do ski at an acceptable level in other conditions. These are not skis for beginners, to use them properly you really need to be fairly good. I’d recomend these to anyone i think could handle them.
