Bottom line these skis will make you a better skier. Takes a few runs to figure out the grip of them but when you do… hold on. These cut through crud like butter and grip amazing in all conditions. The response is perfect and sharp. Not heavy, good flex, overall great ski.

tested: 167/16.2 version
One day they will invent a ski that skis itself. I dont pretend to know much about skis but I have skied enough to know what feels good. I am at the stage now where I want to buy my own skis and seriously looking to find something which progresses my intermediate abilities
After hiring a pair of stockli Laser Cross (2006) in the hire shop at the base of the mountain I found Stockli were doing a ski test day when I reached the slopes. So having skied a couple of hours on well grooed blue, red and black pistes with what was a well used 2006 model with no problems except maybe some poor grip on the edge I then tried the 2007 one.
Wow - The new ski had a lot more solid and sure grip and just seemed more responsive to everything I asked of it. Guess this was the flexamp? - I think that is new in this ski? any complaints ? The styling of the 2006 model was ugly, this was better but was still a little bland but ok (I was testing the grey colour of this version).
One of the people I was with also tried several skis out including the lasercross Pro (green) but everyone I asked liked the standard laser cross 2007 the best of the bunch.
The woman on the ski trial booth said these cost 750 swiss francs. This seems a little high in comparison to other skis of this ability level I have tried this year but I have no complaints about the performance.
So these are currently top on my list to buy.
