The heading here is for the 07 model. Since the co. run a 2 year production cycle, the ski I purchased in April 06 will be identical in all aspects. I first tried the AT on a Stoeckli Test Day. They gripped the boiler plate so well, I stopped in disbelief. Tried them over a few frozen basher tracks, nothing seemed to throw them off line. Took another test of the AT in April, tried the 166, and then settled on the 158. I’m 65kg and 165cm. They cope very well with moguls, which I normally struggle on, and they have been good off piste in gullies, very quick to turn with good feedback underfoot. They feel so stable, they promote confidence. The base material seems very hard and resistant to gouges, and the edges also seem to stay sharp for longer than other brands I have owned. I’m sure that there must be a top speed, not found it yet though. Very stable in a straight line schuss too.

This ski is very easy to ski when you love every type of piste and go quite easily into off-piste.

Tested them in Italy last week, tried the 174 (97-76-112, 21m radius) and just could not stop getting into the lifts over and over again. Speed is no problem for these skis!
