took them out this past weekend in vermont and loved them. great on the soft snow, good hold on ice, killer on the bumps, great in the trees and blasted through crud.  these things can handle whatever you throw at them

and wow, they love to go fast

Just returned from a week at Steamboat. The stormrider was impeccable at bumps, powder and groomers. It is the best crud ski i have ever had. It is the only ski i can imagine that would let me ski the powder filled aspen gladesand then rip the groomers. How stockli makes a ski with a tip this soft that is so stable at speed is beyond me. my next ski will be the xxl.

I skied these all day today. I’m an intermediate / advanced 6’ 135 lbs 40 year old male skiing on an XL 164’s. These skis scream down freshly groomed runs, have totally amazing edge grip and turn easily. These skis are seriously fast but I never felt like I was going to loose control. They feel light but pay attention and keep your weight forward. Watch your heights, I took 164’s because of my light weight. Skis like these are what make the sport so good.
