Dynastar 2007 Preview

Written by Dan Morgan, Tuesday, 17 January 2006

Dynastar and Look seem set to deliver an integrated binding system for the 2007/2007 season.  Dubbed "Fluid", the system operates much like many other existing integrated binding sets already on the market.  A rail runs the underneath the length of the binding to which allows the ski to flex with the binding and store/release energy through the stages of the turn, including increased rebound on exit.  The fluid system integrates with Dynastar longstanding Autodrive system.

Fluid seems set to enhance Dynastar’s demo offering - being a tool-free system enabling binding mount and adjust in less than 30 seconds.

The sports performance Dynastar Contact range seems set for a fairly high profile overhaul.  Nothing is left untouched, with more defined sidecuts and wider waists for bigger footprints along with the new Fluid binding system.  The Dynastar Contact series is aimed at intermediate and above skiers who stick to groomed runs.

The Contact is already tied into the new Fluid binding system, as Dynastar released a limited edition Contact Limited model for the current 2005/2006 season, featuring the Fuild Autodrive system.
