This is a pleasant resort attracting a rather British crowd. I would guess half the time on lifts I was in the company of other Brits as opposed to French or other nationalities. In the middle of the Trois Valles area, a full Trois Valles pass is probably worth it if you are a medium ability skier or upwards. Snow this year was fantastic. Not as chic as Courchevel (which is great for fine dining!) but so what. We went last year (when the snow was dismal) and will be returning next year, no question. Only moan is the ridiculous age at which adult pass prices start: 13 years..
