Bigger than others on the Colorado I-70 corridor, with high prices to match. Acres of back bowls to sneak away from the massive crowds. Great town and places to eat and drink, again with prices to match. They make it easy for all abilities of skiers to ski together. (Even the beginner hill is at the top of the mountain!) Great ski school.
Those insistent on skiing only crazy difficult terrain will be disappointed although there are challenging areas.
Vail is hard to beat, as long as you have the $$$ to enjoy it.
