Manufacturer's Description
We wanted to design an all-mountain ski to be as at home on the groomers as on the tight, high-consequence lines you’ll find on large peaks. We tapped Cody Barnhill, our Global team rider and R&D guru, to design his ski for just this purpose.
“The CODY is a ski that I designed with the idea that the less-than-epic days can be more fun if you have the right tool. With a semi-tight turn radius and long running surface, I wanted a ski that would be stable at high speeds yet capable of quick turns when things get tight. This design is perfect for the days when it hasn’t snowed in a while and you just want to take some laps on the hill. At roughly 100 under foot, this ski can still manage a lot more than just resort skiing. The CODY has a relatively short rocker radius in both the tip and tail to provide a catch free feeling. It floats smoothly off trail and combined with a tiny taper tip and tail, this ski gives just enough ease in transition from edge to base. The art for the CODY was done by my brother, Dylan, making this ski the realization of a collaborative project that I have had in mind for a long time.”
