With a 78mm waist and Ultralite Woodcore, the new Atomic Backland Descender is the lightest ski in this all-new backcountry touring series – perfect for all climbing nuts out there. It still performs on the way down though: in fact, the smaller waist width and All Mountain Rocker ensure total control at all times even on hardpack. The Step Down Sidewall construction absorbs shocks, makes it robust and ensures solid edge grip on all terrain. Choose between 100% mohair PreFit skins, custom-made for the Descender, and our new MultiFit AM Rocker Skins that can be trimmed and fitted to size. You’ve got the option to attach a regular DIN binding and, with the All Mountain Rocker and Step Down Sidewall, you’ll find it an incredible downhill performer – as good on the piste as it is in the backcountry.
