Manufacturer's Description

With a 78mm waist and Ultra Light Woodcore, the new Atomic Backland 78 W is the lightest ski in our Adventure Touring series. It’s perfect for all climbing nuts out there, but still performs on the way down though: in fact, the smaller waist width and All Mountain Rocker ensure total control at all times even on hardpack. The Step Down Sidewall construction absorbs shocks, makes it robust and ensures solid edge grip on all terrain. Choose between 100% Mohair PreFit skins, custom-made for the Backland 78 W, and our new MultiFit AM Rocker Skins that can be trimmed and fitted to size. And, with the All Mountain Rocker and Step Down Sidewall, you’ll find it an incredible downhill performer – as good on the piste as it is in the backcountry.
