Manufacturer's Description

The temple guardian and the brand’s emblem, this is the instigator of the Black Crows philosophy. So, like for many flagship models, we improve it each year to bring out the best of it’s qualities.

This ski designed for vast untouched powder fields offers an enormous versatility of use.  High speed open turns, and difficult or smooth snow are where this alpine style ski really shows its potential for strength, stability and carving.  With a homogeneous tail, the Corvus 196 shows itself, if prompted, to be very responsive at the end of turns for lively and dynamic skiing.  Its long and gradual tip wonderfully facilitates sudden direction changes when faced with rugged terrain at the end of a slope or chopped up powder fields.  Ultra-efficient in changeable, heavy or wind-affected snows, it has all the qualities of a formidable freeride gun.
