Manufacturer's Description

Presented last season, the ova freebird 85mm found its place straight away in the touring range. Associating modernity and tradition with a flat tail and a subtle rocker tip, this ski has a strong alpine identity answering to the demands of those looking for a streamlined ski with which to tackle the high mountains. Following the example of its all mountain version, the ova freebird profits from a single beak DNA enjoying easy handling in soft snow and a precise handling in rough terrain. Having a light rocker and flat tail, it profits from exceptional skiability and a very reactive pivot to ensure very precise skiing on hard snow or in powder.Ideal companion for ski touring, it answers to the demands of a ski with good edge control which is always ready to leave for the far summits. With a freebird gene 1 core - paulownia wood reinforced with poplar under the bindings the ova freebird is much lighter than its all mountain version. Specialised touring ski, it still lives up the black crows’ high standards of skiability. Benefiting from its genetic freebird heritage, this is the perfect partner on which to escape and is intended for those looking for an extremely effective streamlined ski.
