Metal laminates are great for 105mm waist skis and down. Explore too much above the 100mm waist width in metal and the result becomes too heavy and cumbersome. The Cassiar 95 hits an ideal all-mountain sweet spot for Hybrid T2; the waist width and flat tail beg to be driven through crud and soft snow all over the ski area. This is a classic shape/build proposition where you can truly rail GS on the groomed, and then flip the switch and have fun in chewed-up open bowls, or a tight tree run days after the storm.
