Ski Review: Ok. I’m 51 yrs. old. I ski the Wasatch almost 40 times a year. I skiied the Legend all year, 2010-2011 season. Let me clarify, the 2010-2011 season in UTAH. Over 170 feet BASE this year. I ran these ski’s from crud, pack and up to 40 inches pow. Here you go - open them up on Regulator Johnson, (without crud, dry, dry, dry)... Come down High & Mid Greely @ Alta until it gets tight at the bottom—- float and performance. All sweet, you take these boats into the tight tree’s and you’re lucky to avoid a “Bono”. Absolutely no quickness, c’mon I’m 50 and I want to avoid the trees. (Sorry Sonny). With the amount of powder I skied (and everyone else lucky enough to book Utah this year), this Dynastar ski covered it, but don’t call this an all-mountain ski, call it the “wait for the most pow pow in 25 year ski!”. The rocker tip was only good at like minimum speed on the crud/pack. You want to come down fast and in control on soft/hard pack? Put these back on your truck. Without a future triathalon in place for us older studs, this ski sucks.
