Manufacturer's Description
Mothertree 105 is the world’s first community-developed freeride ski for females and have been developed together with the Scandinavian female ski network InspireUs.
The skis are made for females who are looking for a playful and versatile freeride model to ski all over the mountain and in all kind of different snow conditions. Mothertree 105 can be skied with plenty of pressure in the slopes, but like all wide skis it performs best in offpiste conditions. Since it is a low-weight ski, Mothertree 105 can be used with either an alpine binding or a ski touring binding.
Mothertree 105 is constructed as light as possible without using carbon fibre (1750 g at 172 cm). The skis are made out of snappy poplar wood and very light paulownia wood, in combination with the ultra-light aerospace material Tubecomb in tip and tail for lowest possible swing weight. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in the tip and tail, creates great floatation in soft snow but also a great edge grip in hard-packed conditions.
