Ski-Review's verdict:

I am seeing purple stars, I am not sure who designed these skis but you certainly get noticed.

Absolutely one of the lightest skis I have ever used which makes the Liberty Lightspeed extremely nimble and manevureable in the air.

As I skied the day I almost forgot about the topsheets, and only noticed it when people were giving me odd but admiring looks in the queue for the chairs in here in Les Arc.

The ski grips well (to fake snow) and they are very quick which was surprising at first.

Sadly they are not the stiffest ski so if you are a big lad look elsewhere.

The Liberty Lightspeed held its own in the moguls, flexing well and being nimble. The Lightspeed has plenty of pop too so are fun in the park—shame they are not twins though.

Decent performance review but quite frankly I wouldn’t be seen dead on these skis with the funky retro ‘Brady Bunch Lunchbox’ graphics.

certainly not a very image-conscious ski.

i picked up a pair of the liberty lightspeed 175’s last week. fortunatly they did not have the above dissed graphics. check the liberty web site and you’ll see the simple blue graphics presently available. now on to performance. they handled great in the bumps. dropping into the hanging valley headwall at snowmass performed flawless, and i skied the trees no problem. end of the day i finished with several high-speed cruiser runs down big burn and had problems. i really had to stay on top of them to keep them from squirting around under my feet. since most of my skiing is in steep bump terrain i am happy with the ski, mostly because i got them brand new out of the box for pennies. if i had more money for new skies i would look elsewhere.

I own some Liberty skis and they are incredible.  They had some probelms early on, but now kids are winning competitions left and right on Liberty skis.  I bought mine on sale and they were well worth it—even at full price thay are a bargain.  I agree with the guy above - go check http://www.libertyskis.com

amazing.
