Yes, you can still kill it in the air with these skis. I do not reccomend them though. I demoed them out (166) and they are heavy. I normally ride the Line Invader(i’m pissed they took those out of the lineup). The invaders were killers in the park and the rest of the mountain while still being 1/2 of the weight of the afterbang. I may buy the 2011 afterbang because supposively they are making them much lighter. But i do not reccomend this ski. If i were you i would much rather buy the Line mastermind or something.

these skis are actually basically as light as the invaders.they have more flex but have a wider base so you can stomp jumps.the base progressively gets thinner to the tip to help you spin better and creates a longer butter zone.they have a fatty base and edge skateboard construction which helps a lot.these are perfect for jibs also.perfect for park and pipe.plus if i trust any company it would be line.anything they put out is good.

These skis are around 350$ but it depends where you buy them this is the first year I have had afterbangs are they ok on the rest of the mountain or are they meant to stay on jump and rails?

From what i hear the afterbang is a jib ski, mostly for rails. Can this ski do 40 foot jumps in the park? I wonder because I may get these skis in 155cm. Please someone respond.
