Manufacturer’s Description of the Line Invader:

"The Invader continues with its one-of-a kind jib-specific features. Just when you thought it wasn’t possible to get more for your money though, we’ve created a whole level of tip and tail durability for this year. We’ve laminated a layer of eurethane into the tips which enables them to flex during big impact instead of separate, for bombproof durability. No other ski gets you more for your money. Butter in control, ride fakie as comfortable as forward, and spin like there’s nothing on your feet. Let the invasion begin!"

These are fun, but when you can pay the same price for top of the line K2 Fujative, why buy these. They are much more flimsy. Stick with K2.

These skis are supposed to be soft they are a park ski. Don’t get me wrong I like K2’s but I think if you want a sweet park ski line is the way to go.

Just wore out my Line Chronics. They served me well for 2.5 seasons. I do not know about the Invader but the Chronic is pretty damn stiff and great all around ski, kills it in the park mind you. Anybody know how much stiffer the Chronic actually is than the Invader?

Well i hear peps talking smack about the flex but   well there wrong the flex helps with butters and jumps people say they wash out, well ne ski will if u land sidways. in conclusion the flex and new tips are perfect for jumping the flex makes a much softer landing compared to its counterpart the chronic. and for rails you cant beat how lite the ski is compard to other wood core models , i recomend them and love them. i had na pair of PE’s and i bought a pasir of invaders and i have had 3 pairs since. support the brand ride line

I just got these skis after having a pair of rossignol scratch skis which were pretty nice. The invaders are a stiffer ski but they are the same weight in the front and back which is great, they are a faster ski and have alot of pop. This is a great ski for someone that is going to do a little bit of everything.

Ted- first of all relax.. line has one of the best warranties around. IF they snapped (very very very unlikely) then give them a call. The invaders are not for you! You don’t ride park much and they are amazing for park! Get some blends or something that wont be too advanced for you! Good luck buddy! Ride line forever!

These are sturdy as any other ski out there, and even if they were week you would have to be the biggest dumb ass ever to snap any ski after a week.  Its not a fucking skateboard. These are the greatest park skis of all time.  I have the 08 version and i cant believe how much pop they give.  I had made a coment about 7 articles up from this one wonder if i should get them.  I am glad i did.  Of course there at home jibbing shit, but they are also stable for landing bigger jumps.  I live in wisconsin so the season is pretty much over for me it sucks.  The only bad thing about the skis is the top sheet chips quite easily

I am a young kid who skis park alot and i want a soft ski.  I am 5’2 95lb.  I want to be able to butter nicely and nose press.  I am good on jibs and jumps and like both.  The line invaders sound good but i dont know if they are soft enough for my weight.  Does any one reccomendations for what skis i should get.

Its the end of the season and im looking into getting new skis for the upcoming season. I’ve been riding the k2 silencers and there a bit to heavy without enough pop for me. so do they hold up for butters as well as air? cuz iv heard the whole symetrical thing just makes you catch edges ...

those skis are amazing. why buy k2 when you can buy line. i wore a set of fugatives out in 1/2 a season (railed em till they snapped) i rode the invaders even harder than the k2s and they still work great 2 years later. buy the invaders

my first ski was the 06 invader and they’ve ridden like a dream since. They’re light with good pop so u can spring onto rails. Real nice for takeoffs also, just gives u that extra burst u need to stomp that seven. They’re durable as hell cuz I ride these things mountain, urban, and jib randomly in the woods. Amazing skifor the price jus make sure they’re center mounted and u got foot bindings. RIDE LINE FOR LIFE!!

I just bought the 08’s and they are the best ski. I have been skiing the Rossignol Ghettos and those suck and these are so good for huge jumps. 7’s are a breeze with these and rails on these are like skiing down a bunny hill.
