Rossignol Skis 2011
Written by Dan Morgan, Wednesday, 24 February 2010Rossignol Zenith
Rossignol’s popular Zenith all mountain range stays pretty much the same as last year, except for the addition of the Zenith Z76 (a 76mm waist version). Those familiar with the Zenith range will notice a change in the naming to incorporate the dimensions underfoot, though the Zenith Z76 is the only new ski. The new 60/40 (60% groomer 40% off piste) Z76 is available in both a Titanal and Carbon reinforced versions, both Oversize (what isn’t…) and both with IPS H concave cores to remove weight from the ski but channeling force to the sidewalls for increased grip.
Rossignol Zenith Z76 Oversize Ti & Rossignol Zenith Z76 Oversize Carbon.

I have bought a pair of alias skis & now done 2 ski holidays, they are great allround skis but if the piste slightly levels they almost stop dead & if you hit a bit of slush they do stop. In short if you buy these you wont have them long.

Having been heavily involved in nordic skiing for the past fifteen years my hours on fat boards were non existent. I went out for the first time on the ALIAS series skis at Kicking Horse and absolutely fell in love with alpine skiing again. One run and I felt confident. Outstanding edge control, nice in the soft stuff but a bit skiterish on the higher speed groomers. All in all…I hope I can buy them at the end of the season. For a new skier they are absolutely perfect! great job Rossi.
